Natural Sciences Tutorial Hall
Free tutoring is available for biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, and other classes Sunday through Thursday evenings. Don’t wait until you’re having difficulties in a class: The students who use the Tutorial Hall most are B students working to become A students.
Learning Assistance Center
Do you study hard, but still do not do as well in your classes as you would like? Do you feel you might have learning challenges that keep you from doing your best? The Learning Assistance Center can help you identify these challenges and take steps to overcome them.
Office for Undergraduate Research and Artistry
Health Professional Schools encourage students to engage in research as undergraduates (if they are truly interested in doing so—be wary of undertaking projects in order to “look good” on your application). Every science department web site lists its faculty members and their research interests. If you are interested in research in a particular area, you can search for that topic through the CSU home page, and also browse through the descriptions of faculty research in the appropriate department.
CSU’s Office for Undergraduate Research and Artistry is a terrific new resource that helps bring undergraduates and faculty researchers together.
Student Leadership and Civic Engagement
“SLiCE” oversees all student organizations on campus. Health professional schools want students who are actively engaged in their communities: The SLiCE office can help you find organizations that share your interests, as well as rewarding community service activities.
