The Office of International Programs at CSU provides many different services, including opportunities for education abroad. International study, research, internship, and service experiences are once-in-a-lifetime, life-changing opportunities with enormous academic, personal, and professional benefits. An experience abroad sets students apart from peers, enhances studies, and engages students as a citizen of the world. Education abroad opportunities exist in over 80 countries around the world. From internships in Dublin, or dolphin behavior in Honduras to wildlife studies in Mexico or community health in Zambia – the possibilities are endless!

For the first time in January 2020 Health Professions Advising is teaming up with Education Abroad to offer a course in Croatia for pre-health students: IE382A Study Abroad: International Medical Shadowing in Croatia (1 credit).
SLiCE at CSU provides an important link between students and surrounding communities through a variety of leadership, community engagement, and volunteer programs.
President’s Leadership Program: An academic experience that provides opportunities to expand one’s knowledge about diversity issues, values and ethics in the greater context of leadership development.
Rams Engaging in Active Leadership (REAL) Experience: The REAL Experience is a program that focuses on a variety of leadership topics and skills that promotes holistic leadership for the real world. Students can earn a Leadership Preparation Certification or attend a single workshop.
Leadership Development Community: A residential learning community that provides residents with a learning environment with like-minded individuals who are focused on leadership development skills.
Campus Step Up: A Social Justice Retreat that encourages students to become more aware of issues pertaining to diversity and social justice that focuses on self-reflection, education, and personal growth.
Alternative Break Trips: This program is an immersion experience into different cultural, environmental and socioeconomic communities across the nation. See the world, serve the world.
TGIF: This program pairs CSU student volunteers with teens in the community who have a variety of complex needs. Offering mutually beneficial relationships and learning for both teens and college students.
SLiCE Adaptive Swim: Each week, students and their partners spend an hour in the pool for exercise, games, and friendship while developing relationships, improving body coordination and just having fun in the water!
Project Homeless Connect: Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event that provides individuals and families currently experiencing homelessness with access to vital services such as basic medical exams, legal advice and much more.
PRAXIS: This program is a two to four semester commitment that supports Colorado State University students interested in developing a community service or action project that is innovative, creative, and change oriented.
Public Achievement for Community Transformation: The Public Achievement organizing model recognizes that people of every age have skills, talents, and ideas, and that by learning to work with others, they can solve problems and build sustainable democratic societies.
CSU Serves: Service Saturday is an opportunity for Registered Student Organizations to participate in community service on Saturdays throughout the academic year in exchange for funding for their organization.
CSUnity: Join a Colorado State University tradition and get involved with CSUnity! Each spring, more than two thousand CSU students gather for a day-long service plunge in and around the Fort Collins community!
Cans Around the Oval: Cans Around the Oval is a CSU tradition, where students, faculty, and staff partner with members of the community and the Food Bank for Larimer County to help solve food insecurities.
